Upstate Retreat

Set within a wooded landscape in upstate New York, this residence was designed with simplicity and clarity at its core. The building’s clean, linear form wrapped in a single material allows for expansive glazing and uninterrupted interior spaces, creating a strong visual and physical connection to the surrounding forest. We opened up the plan and introduced large, flexible living areas filled with natural light. The result is a calm, modern retreat that balances openness with warmth and invites the landscape to play a central role in daily life.
